Forth is a building, a project, a place to meet minds. Forth is our Café and Restaurant, our basement Cocktail Bar and our relationship with Dogwood Coffee Canada, Tipping Canoe, Upfeat Media and our Co-working Space.
At Forth you're encouraged to get an amazing coffee to go on your way to work. The beans we grind for your brew are roasted right across the corridor by Dogwood Coffee Canada.
Or get comfortable. Do some work, have a late lunch, attend a workshop. Explore the intersections between art, food, tech and culture. As the day moves on, head down to Forth Cocktail Bar on the lower level.
Forth aims to be a space that builds community and inspires collaboration. We also make great food, coffee and drinks.
Forth Safer Spaces Policy
We recognize the privilege of owning and operating a business on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation.
We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
We want people of all gender identities, abilities, ages, cultures, and sexualities will feel welcome to participate in our space, therefore any form of discrimination is not acceptable.
We have no tolerance for violence, invasion of another’s space, expressing yourself in a way that will offend another’s culture, being intolerant of someone’s religious beliefs, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, classism, sizeism, and language or behaviour that may perpetuate oppression.
We reserve the right to remove any person not cooperating within these guidelines.
While we recognize no space can be completely safe and free from oppression, we would like this space to be welcoming, and engaging for customers, friends, families, employees, performers, and organizers alike. We encourage everyone entering Forth to be proactive in creating an atmosphere where the safety of others is valued. We are a survivor centric and survivor oriented space.

Any concern brought to our attention will be taken seriously and addressed as immediately as possible.
We are committed to community building and hold restorative justice values. Each situation will be assessed on an individual basis.
As stated earlier, we reserve the right to ask anyone who is in violation of our guidelines/policies to leave when asked. In extreme cases when police must be notified, this will be immediately disclosed.
As employees of Forth, we will begin with challenging ourselves, and our own privileges or biases. We will recognize our customers and fellow coworkers by using the correct pronouns, and refrain from using gendered language. We will recognize our customers and fellow coworkers’ barriers or struggles by providing judgement-free inclusion. We will listen to each other by providing a space for everyone’s voice to be heard and not silenced. We will continue to work towards having a safe space by learning from, supporting, encouraging and teaching one another.
